SRCOS Awards

In recognition of his many years of contribution to the advancement of statistics in the South and nationally, the SRCOS graduate student poster ” honorable mention” awards were established to honor Dr. Richard (“Dick”) L. Anderson. The Anderson poster session honorable mention awards, granted for the first time at the 1994 SRC in Williamsburg, Virginia, are in tribute to Dick Anderson. A panel of doctoral level statisticians will unbiasedly evaluate each of the graduate student posters and determine the winners of the honorable mention Anderson Awards. The winners of the Anderson awards will be announced at the Tuesday evening banquet and awards ceremonies.
