SRCOS Awards

To honor Dr. Miller, SRCOS established the M. Clinton Miller, III, award for the Best Student Poster. Dr. Miller was one of the original panel member organizers for the Regional Statistical Summer Sessions (the precursor to the Summer Research Conference). He served as the President from 1981 thru 1983 and rarely missed a SRC meeting while serving as Chair of the Department of Biometry at MUSC for twenty-six years. Amy Bardeen and Thomas McCoy of Clemson University were the inaugural recipients of the Miller award at the 2004 Summer Research Conference in Blacksburg, Virginia.
